North Walsham Young Farmers, a local club, which is part of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, are planning an expedition for charity. The charity we have chosen to fund raise for is
Nelson's Journey, this charity is well known in Norfolk for it work in supporting bereaved children.The club which is for members who age from sixteen to twenty-six are planning to walk from Great Yarmouth to Hunstanton over three days -from 8th to the 10th May 2015- this is a total of seventy miles. We are looking for support, in kind, and in the form of sponsorship from local companies who wish to give this project their backing.
The activities of North Walsham Young Farmers includes a program of Tuesday evening meetings which includes speakers and visits; attendance at Norfolk Young Farmer social events and competitions and regular Friday night visits to the local pubs. Our members are from many walks of life -not exclusively farmers- but of the many clubs in Norfolk, ours is one that retain a strong link to the local agricultural community.
